About the Event
Are you a practitioner who is ready to explore ways how to bring the spiritual aspect into your work?
Do you want to generate ideas on ways how you can pay more attention to the spiritual dimension in your clients’ lives?
I would like to invite you to an experiential, reflective and creative webinar which will be taking place on Saturday 5th December 2020: Incorporating Spirituality in our Therapeutic Practices
This reflective, experiential and creative workshop is aimed for various well-being practitioners who would like to enhance their skills on how to integrate the spiritual dimension when supporting the care-receivers. Several studies have highlighted the importance of spirituality in mental health and resilience (Walsh, 2003). However, spirituality has not always been given its due importance in therapeutic practices and various practitioners might have considered it as ‘not their domain’. Nonetheless, studies and experience keep ascertaining that having meaning and purpose in our lives is crucial for our wellbeing. Inspired by the work of Froma Walsh and my own passion in the field of spirituality, I would like to embark on this one-day journey of exploration with you. We will have the opportunity to reflect on our own spiritual beliefs and also on how we can support such exploration amongst the people in our care.
